The best part of winter aside from pumpkin spice lattes, snow and basketball are definitely breaking out your college sweatshirt for game day, whether it was purchased weeks ago in the campus bookstore or an old favorite from your alma mater. Getting dressed to cheer on the home team can be well…..frustrating for us gals. What’s to do when the option of a delivery pizza, a solo cup, and tennis shoes isn’t her flavor? The devil is in the details to take your look too classy! Look below for a few of my favorite and easy to change out items for tailgating, a friends bracket party or even after work cocktails with the girls.

1: Button-up Shirt – Firstly I almost always add an extra layer under my alma mater topper (I’m partial to my chambray button-up). Try putting on your favorite long sleeve underneath and cuffing the sleeve to show a pop of sass.
2: Accessorize! – Nothing is cuter than a collar necklace, showing hints of glitter and personality to jazz up any outfit. Some of my favorites are JCrew vintages that I find on eBay.
3: The shoes make the outfit – I’m biased obviously, I have worn my Lillybee wedges and flats to numerous outings. I always get a compliment and love how easy it is to change out the bow depending on my mood and where I’m heading too. They look especially great with my Hokies sweatshirt and boyfriend jeans.
